Promote the culture of impact R&D&I
Identify innovation opportunities and activate mechanisms to bring them to the market and society, seeking synergies within the sector, with other sectors such as tourism, ICT, e-sports, health, leisure and food, among others. As well as with social fields, such as inclusive sport or women and sport.
Transfer the vision, concerns, reflections and needs of the sector to the strategies of public administrations
Raise awareness of the opportunity to support R&D&I in the sector within public R&D&I policies at a regional, national and European level.
Hub Sports Valencia
We promote impact innovation in the sports and physical activity sector in the Valencian Community. The main mission of the platform is to promote R&D and innovation in sports and physical activity that contribute to active, healthy and sustainable lifestyles in society.
The innovation cycle
Entities are accompanied and supported throughout the innovation cycle, identifying needs and problems of society, as well as solutions to them that can become innovation opportunities.
It supports and accompanies the design, development and launch of innovations with a positive impact on the market and society.
Innovations take the form of products, services, policies or business models.
What we offer
Innovation sessions
Participatory sessions in which representatives of the 4 helices analyze specific topics, identifying needs, problems and solutions that can give rise to collaboration proposals: businesses and projects.
Work groups
Sessions developed in limited groups in order to analyze specific opportunities and define specific projects.
Networking
We connect private entities, universities, government and professional associations for the development of open innovation at both regional, national and European levels. For the latter, we are part of the European network of sports innovation hubs, the European platform for sports innovation (EPSI), the international sports innovation network (Sinn-i) and we have an extensive network of contacts. in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Sector studies
We periodically undertake studies to establish the state of the art of the sector in different aspects as a prior step to preparing our strategic plan.
Project and consortium development
Generation of proposals for presentation to calls for public subsidies and private financing opportunities.
